I cooked our rabbit tonight!
I used this recipe with 2 small changes:
- We don’t grow rosemary on the farm so I used garden-grown thyme and sage.
- I also added onion and garlic because why not?!
Watch below for the verdict…
Until next time,

That looks really good.
YUM!!!!!! Yay glad it was good!
I’m having so much fun following you two!
I love the expressions on AC’s face as she tries it!
We got one set of thumbs up, what about you Charli – do you agree? And not that I EVER plan on cooking or eating this, but I’m curious do you cook it like chicken (no pink in the middle) or can it be rare, medium or well done? Last question – what did it taste like? I love following you guys. I will live vicariously through you two!! xoxo
I agree, it was pretty good for my first rabbit! It’s very similar to chicken–they say anything you make with chicken, you can make with rabbit. And yes, cook it like chicken, too: no pink in the middle.
The honey in this particular recipe made it pretty sweet, but by itself rabbit is pretty mild. At least, that’s what I thought. AC thought it tasted gamier than chicken, but not too much.
Thanks for following! Xoxo
Wow ! Proud of you but I don’t think I could do it ! Loving your new adventures❤️
